Following the successful upgrade of modified software it is possible to Manually load extra features onto the Humax by placing them on a USB pen drive, The steps are as follows :-

  • Download new feature from hummypkg.org.uk
  • Rename *.opk file to end in *.opk.auto (to allow automatic loading)
  • Place renamed file into the root of a USB disk (Flash or externally powered)
  • With the Humax on and running normally, plug the USB disk into a USB port.
The disk light will flash while the software is installed.
The TV may show a menu relating to accessing media on the disk which can safely be ignored.
The software will be installed and a log file created on the USB disk.
