The procedure for upgrading Humax software, (both original and Modified) is as follows :-

- Power OFF the product using the rear ON/OFF switch

- Download the software and save on a USB Pen drive

- Make sure the filename is hdr_fox_t2_upgrade.hdf

- HDR model put the unit into standby (big button on the front = orange) - HD model unplug unit from the mains supply

- Insert the USB Pen drive directly into the front or rear USB port

- HDR model - Start up the Humax using the big button on the front - HD model - Holding down the power button, plug back into mains supply

- The download should start and the download progress should appear on the TV set

- When the update is complete End will appear on the front display, "Download Successful will appear on the TV.

- Remove USB Pen and press standby

Notes:

During the update process DO NOT power off the product

USB Pen must be formatted in FAT32

The software must be on the root directory of the USB Pen drive (e.g. not in a sub-folder)

Try the other USB port if the first doesn't start upgrade

Not all USB Pens will be recognised, try a different USB Pen
