Firmware Upgrade Path

The procedure for upgrading your customised firmware varies depending on which software your Humax is currently running and the version to which you are migrating. Refer to the tables below to find the appropriate instructions. These instructions reflect the upgrade paths which have been tested. Others may be possible but proceed at your own risk.

In the tables:

Official y.y.y 

indicates an official firmware release from Humax

CFW x.xx/y.y.y 

indicates customised firmware version x.xx for official firmware y.y.y

Upgrading to Customised Firmware 2.16 based on Humax Firmware 1.02.32

Upgrading to Customised Firmware 2.16 based on Humax Firmware 1.02.29

Note: If you forget to run the prepare_for_upgrade diagnostic then you can recover afterwards by running the fix-flash-packages diagnostic as a final step.
